Welcome to the second episode of the Keto & Primal Health UAE podcast. In this episode we outline our reasons for following a ketogenic diet, and weight loss isn’t one of them.
Both of us set out on keto with a view to losing weight, however, it didn’t quite work out the way we expected. However, along the way we both started to experience, and really enjoy, some of the other know benefits, such as:
- Enhanced cognitive performance and mental acuity
- Stable energy levels
- Improved satiation and hunger management
In Dubai, most people seem to be trying the ketogenic diet on the premise that it’s a silver bullet for weight loss but we outline how important calorie management is alongside a bunch of other health considerations.
