There’s nothing healthier than a well put together salad, especially is you get the balance of protein, carbs and fat just right. There’s no need for vitamin supplements if you’re packing your diet with super meals like this awesome chicken avocado salad.


  • Handful mixed salad leaves
  • 100g grilled chicken breast
  • ¼ avocado (45g; 90 kcal)
  • 25g goats cheese
  • 15g dried cranberries
  • 5 walnuts
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Add the mixed salad leaves to a bowl, add the lemon juice and toss the salad well
  2. Add all other ingredients

Tips & Alternatives

Watch out for the measurements as most of these little blighter ingredients are off the chart when it comes to calories. For instance, avocados are packed full of good fats, however, it’s still fat so it’s a calorie dense fruit with just 1/4 of your average avocado coming in at around 90 calories. The same goes for goats cheese, cranberries and walnuts!
