This Papaya Smoothie is super easy to make, tastes great and provides a good serving of protein and carbs. As it provides a good serving of protein and carbs it could work extremely well as a post workout smoothie, however, it could be great pre-workout too as it’s pretty light on the stomach.

Papaya may not be for everyone as it has an unusual taste if it’s something you’re not familiar with, however, it’s an awesome superfood which is antioxidant rich, a good source of fibre and dense with vitamins and minerals.


  • 200ml water
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey powder
  • 200g fresh papaya
