Another beast of a recipe from our eBook, The Ultimate Guide, this Strawberry & Banana Power Smoothie is ideal for refuelling after a good workout as it provides a good serving of protein and carbs.

We like to use frozen strawberries in this one as it adds volume so fills you up, making this great for a meal replacement. We’ve also included some nutritional powerhouses in the form of peanut butter (super healthy if you make the right choice), dates and the awesome superfood Flax Seed.


  • 100ml skimmed milk
  • 50ml water
  • 75g banana
  • 50g frozen strawberries
  • 50g fat free natural yoghurt
  • 20g dried, stoned dates
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tsp (16g) sugar free chunky peanut butter
